is an EU-project which introduces young people to up-to-date research
on climate change and encourages them to find ways how they can
contribute to a reduction of the problem themselves.
The emphasis of the Kiel CarboSchools activities lies in presenting the
concept of climate change and particularly its consequences for the
ocean to students of 10 to 14 years by experiments developed jointly by
teachers and project scientists.
These pages serve as a resource for the activities in Kiel. The
complete project is presented on the international
cooperation encompasses 9 partners in
7 European countries, and it was supported by the EU's 7th Framework
Programme from 2008 to 2010.
